Our goal is to provide a warm and loving environment for young children, where they can feel safe to take risks, use their imaginations, and be themselves. Each day will have a predictable rhythm that will lend itself to creative choices and free-play.
Our days will begin with a circle time where we will greet and share with each other. Through the course of the day, children will engage in practical and artistic activities such as, baking, gardening, painting, and handicrafts. Each child’s power of imagination will be nurtured through stories, songs, games, dramatic exploration, and free-play.

Creating a connection for children to the natural world will be an important part of the experience at Sprouts. We will explore the outdoors and collect materials to showcase in our room. In this loving and creative environment, the child’s innate curiosity is nurtured, offering an opening to a lifetime love of learning.
Discipline in the classroom is a process of modeling caring and compassionate behavior, providing clear and consistent expectations and creating an engaging environment. Conflict resolution methods are used and taught to help children become more sensitive to the needs and feelings of others and to learn to solve problems in positive ways.
