Bring: A tent and camping supplies and beach supplies. There will be opportunities for self-guided hikes, playing in the ocean, and fishing-bring appropriate gear.
Bring enough food for supper Tuesday evening, and breakfast and lunch Wednesday along with lots of snacks.
If you are going to cook on a fire, please bring charcoal or you will have to buy wood from the park. You cannot collect wood from park grounds.
Do NOT bring firewood! New infestations of tree-killing insects and diseases are spread by firewood brought from another area outside of the campground. Violation can bring a penalty of a $2,500 fine and/or jail time!
Location: 2500 Shore Drive, VA Beach, VA 23451 (About 3.5 hours from Raw Learning)
Directions: From I-64, take Northampton Blvd./U.S. 13 North (Exit 282). Go through eight lights, then turn right at the Shore Drive/U.S. 60 exit (last exit before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel). Take a right on Shore Drive and go four and a half miles to the park entrance. For camping, turn left off U.S. 60.

Raw Learning has reserved 7 sites in Group Camping area Loop E.
Please see the email that was sent for your site assignment.
We are responsible for leaving campsites in the same condition as we arrived. Any damages or excess cleaning will be charged to the assigned families.
There is a limit of 2 cars per campsite.
Time: Check in – as early as 4pm, Tuesday, June 7th. Gleamer will be leaving Raw Learning at 2:30 and arriving at
6-6:30pm. If you are planning on arriving earlier be sure to notify Gleamer so that she can provide the confirmation number for your assigned campsite. Everyone needs to check in.
