Raw Learning is continuing to line up Camp Instructors for our many summer camps for ages 5-9, 10-13, and 14-17. We have been very impressed by the current candidates. Contact email@example.com to submit your proposal and get PAID!
Spring Trimester field trips are ALMOST ready patient people! :-) You should receive an email that they are available for sign up sometime this week.
Create an account or login to register for attendance as a private school student, a drop off homeschool student, a family attending together, and/or for Sprouts preschool. We welcome all ages, 0-17. There is even a class a la carte option! Whatever attendance fits your family, fits Raw Learning!
Spring Break: Raw Learning will be on Spring Break March 22-26. We look forward to an exciting and fun-filled Spring Trimester when Raw Learning resumes on Monday, March 28!
Field Trips: Wednesday, March 16th
*Only families preregistered may attend with Raw Learning. Registration for Spring Trimester field trips will be available in March.

PARKING-There is very limited parking in the McGuffey Art Center lot. You are welcome to try to park there.
Your best bet is to park in the metered parking lot where the Charlottesville City Market is held on Saturdays that is bordered by W. South St, 1st St. S., W. Water St, and 2nd St SW.
Cost is $.25 per 1⁄2 hour payable in quarters only.

From the parking lot you can walk straight up 2nd St. SW to the Art Center.
Enter through the back or front door and go up the stairs. Wait where the art exhibits are.

Makers!: Make your own juggling balls…and learn to juggle!
Rockin’ Mad Science: Field Trip to Planetarium cancelled! Ashley will have several chemistry experiments to investigate!
Medieval Combat: Personal Challenges. Students will suggest their favorite activities or whole new scenarios for the group to enjoy together.
¡A Jugar en Espanol!: Learn how to describe who has what with gender nouns
Activities -- Add to mural project -- whatever you want! Maria will help you label it. You choose the game -- by vote.

Dissection: Cow tongue dissection and an experiment on our sense of taste
Nerf Wars: Play different strategy games!
Wild Animals of the World: Topic: Food Web!Our activity will be playing Animal Jeopardy to review all the awesome animals we learned about!
Flip This Apartment: Finish 3D model, complete rainbow doormat, and work on building cinder block bench.
Tabletop Games: Free for all games...Qwirkle, Pyramix, Muchinkin, Monopoly
Woodworking: Create wooden pennants that you can decorate and hang in your bedroom!
Mixed Media Art: Complete the Raw Learning sign with string art!
Flippin’ Gymnastics: Field Trip to FAME!
Leave at 1:45. The address is 13 Skyview Cir, Verona. Field trip 2:00-3:00pm
Participants will first warm up and stretch and then participate in tumbling stations. Then the focus will be basic stunting and flying skills. Afterwards participants will use the tumble track (about 25'x8') to practice their tumbling. The last part will be free tumble. If participants would like they can have assistance and spotting from the FAME coach.
The cost is $5/student participant. If your child does not have $5 on Thursday, they will not be able to participate.
Music and Movement: 8:30 (youngers) - Here come the birds! It’s almost spring.
9:00 (olders) - Let’s share!
Decorating with Icing: Using all of the techniques learned throughout the trimester, decorate mini-cakes!
