If you have an interest in teaching one or more of the following classes go to http://www.rawlearning.org/classinformationform, log in and complete the webform, and submit it for approval. The deadline for webform submission is November 20th.

-Forest survival (The students want to go out in the woods in the cold!)
-Ghost hunting/exploring the paranormal
-Exciting, engaging, and fun board games class (focused for ages 9-14)
-More Dangerous skills (Don’t Try this at Home Again!)
-Ways to die! (Older students are very curious about death)
-Mammal dissection (focused for around ages 9-13)
-Minecraft and/or Roblox (focused for around ages 5-10)
-Exploring music with instruments and song (focused for preschool and early elementary)
Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Volunteers Needed!
Looking for ways to give back during the holiday season? Our Holiday Food Drive at Kroger grocery stores is fast approaching Nov. 19 to Dec. 16! The food bank is in need of volunteers in Staunton, Waynesboro, Harrisonburg and Charlottesville to help collect food for hungry neighbors in need. Volunteers of all ages can participate (children must be accompanied by an adult) to greet shoppers and hand out our list of Most Needed Items. There will also be a box for them to put the food into. *Only families preregistered may attend with Raw Learning. Registration for Winter Trimester field trips will be available in December.

Location: 215 E. Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902 on the Downtown Mall
PARKING: -Gleamer will park in the metered parking lot that is bordered by W. South St, 1st St. S., W. Water St, and 2nd St SW. Cost is $.25 per 1⁄2 hour payable in quarters only. Here is a link to a map of the area that might be helpful. The red A marker denotes where Revolutionary Soup is. The parking lot is just down 2nd St SW.
10:00am-Meet Gleamer in the vicinity of the fountain that is to the left of The Paramount, if you are facing the marquee.
10:05am sharp- Raw Learning will leave the fountain to enter The Paramount. Please make sure you are there before 10:00. There will be many people to seat. It makes it more difficult when they cannot seat a group as a whole. Please do not go in ahead of the Raw Learning group.
11:30am— Field Trip Concludes
Lunch:Picnic lunch at McGuffey Park located at 201 Second (2nd) Street NW, Charlottesville. Unless it is raining, and then Revolutionary Soup or another restaurant on the Downtown Mall is recommended. As of Sunday, the day looks pretty.

Makers Mystery Bag: Pumpkin Picker: Individually, or in partners/groups, students will design and build a device to harvest a field of pumpkins as efficiently as possible.
Sing and Perform: Sing with us!
Art: 3D Handprint and frame Zentagles
Sweet Treats: Create your own signature cookie.
Field Trip Fun: Prepare for the field to see Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters at the Paramount, by learning all about Zimbabwe and reading the book!
Pokemon Go!: We will meet to get ready and set, then we will Go! Gypsy Hill Park, Discussion topic: Favorite parts of the game, ideas for future versions.
Drama Kings and Queens: We will be performing Three Sideways Stories from Wayside School on Tuesday, November 15, at approximately 12:30 pm. Please come, especially parents of our actors, if you are able.
International Cooking: Potluck! Bring your own international dish to share. You must bring a dish to get to taste the other dishes.
Wednesday: Field trips!
Spies Decoded: Trip to the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C. OR make a spy kit. Email Ashley email@example.com immediately if you’d like to join this field trip!
Water Fun (and science!): Last class party. We’ll drop some yummy candy into various liquids to see if they dissolve. And also eat some candy.
In the Garden: Prepare the bed for winter.
Cheer: Practice and then share some cheer.
Don’t Try This At Home! (Experience is the best teacher): Making twig pencils. We will use fire building skills to obtain lead. Drill into twigs and glue leads and then use our pocket knives to sharpen our pencils.
How to be a Warrior Cat: The Gathering: gain your warrior name!
Cosmetology: Get your hair cut or colored by Mary! Parents must be notified. You can also cut and color the mannequin’s hair.
